We were approached by one of Europe's leading glass replacement fitting companies. They required a special rig to assist in the fitting of concave windscreens to large buses and coaches. This required a special cantilevered board system that would take the weight of 2 operatives and a large windscreen.
Our design team got to work straight away and developed a special rig which could be dismantled and loaded into the back of a transit van. The company in question were delighted with the rig as it allowed them to fit new windscreens on location, as before the vehicle had to be towed to a local depot.
